Ø  Be on time! You must be in your seat and ready to work when the bell rings.

Ø  When the bell rings you must begin the Bellringer activity and complete it in an appropriate amount of time.

Ø  Be respectful! Show respect to everyone and everything.

Ø  The teacher dismisses the class, not the bell!

Ø  Be prepared! Bring daily-required materials to class every day. Make sure pencils are sharpened or that you have paper before teacher begins to lecture.

Ø  Students will remain in their seats while the teacher is lecturing.

Ø  Wait until teacher is finished with lecture before interrupting, unless there is a question about the material the teacher is teaching.

Ø  Students must receive permission and sign out to go to the bathroom. They will be allowed no more than one bathroom pass each week.

Ø  Students may not place their feet on the seats of desks.

Ø  Applying makeup and grooming is appropriate in the bathroom not in the classroom.

Ø  No eating or drinking in class except for water.

Ø  Horseplay is not appropriate for the classroom and will not be permitted.
