Course Description:

Computer Literacy I is an introductory computer course designed to familiarize the student with the various types of computer software commonly used in homes and offices.  The course is designed primarily for but not limited to the components contained in Microsoft Office 2016.  Those components include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.  Microsoft Office 2016 or its predecessors is of tremendous value to students as they leave high school to further their education or seek employment in the workplace.

Evaluation:

Assessment will be determined by the quality and completion of the following requirements:

  • 1st 9 weeks - 40%
  • 2nd 9 Weeks - 40%
  • Mid Term Test - 10%
  • Semester Test - 10%
