About Me
Hi! I’m Erin Jones, the Media Specialist and Yearbook Adviser at South Greene High School. Before becoming a librarian, I taught high school English, and I still love helping students grow as readers, writers, thinkers, and storytellers.
I want the library to be a place where students can feel comfortable and supported. Need a post-it note or a pencil? Grab one from beside the student printer. Do you want to sit in the comfy chair and use the lap desk while you work? Go for it! Need a break? Spend a few minutes adding to our community puzzle or create a drawing on our giant chalkboard wall.
As our yearbook adviser, I believe we’re creating much more than a book. We’re preserving the story of our school. I challenge my students to care about people, pursue excellence, ask thoughtful questions, and tell every story with accuracy, creativity, and respect.
I am an Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design, and I enjoy blending creativity, technology, and design in ways that prepare students for the future.
When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me spending time with my daughter, exploring the outdoors, enjoying live music, reading, or working on a creative project.
